¶ Secure DNS
Opera browser natively supports DNS-Over-HTTPs. Let's configure ControlD on it.
¶ Step 1
Go to "Settings" in the top left corner menu.
¶ Step 2
Search for "DNS" in the top right search box
¶ Step 3
Select "Enter custom DNS server address" option.
¶ Step 4
Input the DNS-Over-HTTPS URL into the field. If you're configuring our free DNS resolvers, you can use these:
- Unfiltered → https://freedns.controld.com/p0
- Block Malware → https://freedns.controld.com/p1
- Block Malware + Ads → https://freedns.controld.com/p2
- Block Malware + Ads + Social → https://freedns.controld.com/p3
If you are configuring a custom DNS resolver, you can find your DoH URL in the My Account section.
