¶ DNS Stamp Tutorial
You can use the DNS Stamp Calculator Utility to generate stamps for ControlD.
¶ DNS-Over-HTTPS
If you wish to use DoH, here is what you gotta do.
¶ Step 1
Head over to DNS Stamp Calculator Utility and choose “DNS-Over-HTTPS” from the dropdown menu.
¶ Step 2
If you are using a premium ControlD resolver, use the info in My Account:
And fill out the form as follows:
The above info is for example purposes, your IP address and Path will be different.
If you are using a free resolver:
- The IP address is always 76.76.2.11
- The Host name is always freedns.controld.com
- Path will be the chosen resolver (/p0, /p1, /p2, or /p3).
¶ DNS-Over-TLS
If you wish to use DoT, here is what you gotta do.
¶ Step 1
Head over to DNS Stamp Calculator Utility and choose “DNS-Over-TLS” from the dropdown menu.
¶ Step 2
If you are using a premium ControlD resolver, use the info in My Account:
And fill out the form as follows:
The above info is for example purposes, your IP address and Path will be different.
If you are using a free resolver:
- The IP address is always 76.76.2.11
- The Host name is always p0.freedns.controld.com, p1.freedns.controld.com, p2.freedns.controld.com or p3.freedns.controld.com
