ControlD supports over 220 unlockable services, however there are many other services out there that we do not support directly on our Services pages. Have no fear, as you can use the ControlD tools to create your own custom services and unlock them, just like we do. Alternatively, this guide will help you to collect the required DNS query logs so we can unblock the service for you.
Enable the Activity Log in the Control D panel so you can see what queries are being made.
If you already accessed the service or website you wish to unblock, your browser/app will cache the DNS records. Close the tab for the service, and restart the browser to flush the cache. If you're using an app, fully close it, and re-launch it.
It helps to make sure that the device you're doing this work on is the only one that sends DNS queries, to avoid seeing queries from other devices that are unrelated to this process.
Open the page/app screen that is geo-blocked and reproduce the error, while the Activity Log is running. You will see a bunch of domains being requested. Some of those will need to be redirected. If you were asked to provide this list by support, copy the Activity Log via the button at the top right corner.
If you're feeling adventurous, create custom rules for the appropriate domain names and redirect them to a correct country level location. Then restart the browser/app and try accessing the content again.
Repeat this process until the service starts working.
